Hello, I am Sara Olson! I’m 26 years old, I live in NH, and I have two cats named Pooh & Polo. Welcome to my portfolio and blog; I’ve created this space to display my work, have a creative outlet, and share myself with the world. 

 

After graduating amidst a global pandemic back in 2020, I found myself lost. The dreams I had of being a lawyer no longer felt attainable or aligned with who I was becoming. My passion for sustainability and my creative skills helped me find and shape a role at Elm City Compost. I was the Marketing & Media Manager at ECC for two years and this is where my Marketing/Design/Social Media career began. Since April 2024, I have been with 603 Forward as their Communications Coordinator. I’m extremely grateful for this role as it has shown me what I want out of a position and how the right job can shape you into the professional you’ve always wanted to be.  

 

As for the future, I still dream of moving to a big city, of leaving the state I was born in- even if it’s just for a few years. I’d like to find myself in a role that intersects design and content creation, sustainability, and social change. Something thats public facing where my day to day tasks dip into many different buckets, keeping things interesting and fulfilling. I’m still writing poetry and I entered a competition in May of this year (2025). That’s always been the BIG dream. I’ll continue to volunteer and give back to my community; currently I am Veggie Couriering (Gleaning) for Grow Nashua, picking up-litter whenever I get the chance, and staying connected with my friends at 350NH. 

 

My heart and to-do list are the same size and I still find myself having to tell myself to slow down. In my 26th year I’ve made it a point to live a very balanced life, I want to play as hard as I work. I’m traveling, going to concerts, hitting the gym regularly, taking myself on solo dates, escaping into nature, reconnecting with old friends- finding the joy!
